PFS TECO joined NFPA Global Solutions in August 2025 as our second acquisition. Timber Engineering Company (TECO) was established in 1933 to research and promote the proper use of structural wood products. In 1959, PFS was chartered as Plywood Fabricator Service, a quality control agency. In 2015, the two organizations merged to form PFS TECO, a trusted service provider in the modular building, building products, and heating appliances industries. Its highly skilled technical teams and strong customer focus have helped clients demonstrate compliance, mitigate risk, and gain acceptance in the marketplace.

The acquisition of PFC TECO supports the NFPA Global Solutions strategy to deepen technical offerings and scale high demand services to further support the built environment. Its proven operating model and customer first approach made it a strong strategic fit. PFS TECO added the built products expertise to NFPA Global Solutions, enabling more comprehensive solutions and stronger coverage for customers across industries and regions.
